Yang Yongshan (1938.4 -) is from Laizhou, Shandong Province. Good at ceramic art and art design. Graduated from the Ceramic Art Department of the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts, and taught in his school. He is currently vice-president, professor and doctoral supervisor. His ceramic works such as "Knot Ring", "Morning Song", "Fishing Interest", "Ancient Style", "Stone Flow", "Flying", "Snow" have been exhibited in many large-scale exhibitions at home and abroad. The "Oblique Jade" won the first prize of national ceramics design in 1986, and the "Rainbow" won the same prize in 1990. His published works are "Ceramic Modeling Foundation", "China's Ceramics", "Folk Ceramics", "Talking about Ceramics on Art Collection" and so on. He is also an editor-in-chief of Complete Works of Modern Chinese Art, Ceramic Volume. In May 2006, he was appointed as a part-time professor in the College of Art, Lanzhou University.
