  Yu Jianshi, nicknamed the owner of Bu dongrong Zhai, was born in Tianjin in 1959. He is the member of the Teaching Steering Committee of Fine Arts of the Ministry of Education of China; member of China Artists Association and director of Tianjin Artists Association; member of Chinese Calligraphers Association, member of Education Committee of Chinese Calligraphers Association, vice-chairman of Tianjin Calligraphers Association; professor of Chinese Painting Department of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, master's supervisor, and the visiting professor of Tianjin Commercial University. Yu Jianshi studied painting and calligraphy from his grandfather and professor Wang Songyu of Tianjin Fine Arts Institute. The ink color of his paintings is clear, mellow and full, which likes blue water and white frost, noble and profound. He draws all kinds of things from the heart. His works include Wang Songyu's Teaching Paradigm, Yu Jianshi's Talking about Famous Paintings of Huangshen, The Appreciation of Chinese Paintings in Solitary Text - 500 Arhats, Calligraphy Art, and Collection of Famous Chinese Landscape Paintings. In June 2013, he was employed as a part-time professor in the School of Art, Lanzhou University.
