Li Shuhong: soprano, associate professor, Master Tutor.

Professional Affiliations: member of Musician Association of Gansu Province, member of Vocalist Association of Gansu Province.      

Career and education:

1990: graduated from the School of Music, Northwest Normal University, specializing in music education and vocal performing, after professor Chai Ying and professor Qian Peiji, won bachelor degree.

1998-2001: studied in the School of Music, Northwest Normal University, as a graduate student with equivalent degree in vocal music, after professor Chai Ying.

Training or further education:

2008: studied traditional bel canto in Central Conservatory of Music, under the tutorship of professor Guo Shuzhen and professor Zhao Dengying.

2011: studied traditional Chinese folk singing in Shanghai Conservatory Of Music, under the tutorship of professor Fang Qiong.

2014: studied musical in New York University Shanghai, under the tutorship of soprano professor Diana.

Awards got by students under her guidance:

In 2006, Lin Dan won the second prize of popular singing in the national finals of "Chinese Artistic Style".

In 2007, Lin Dan won the honorable mention in central China division of “The Chinese Golden Bell Award for Music”, sponsored by the China Federation of Literature and Art Circles and Chinese Musicians' Association.

Lin Dan won the honorable mention in Gansu Division of the 13th CCTV Young Singers' Competition.

In 2008, Wang Yi won the first prize of scriptwriting of Campus Opera "Plum Blossom Award" in Gansu Province.

Cheng Huaxing won the first prize of singing of Campus Opera "Plum Blossom Award" in Gansu Province.

Zhou Yi won the second prize of singing of Campus Opera "Plum Blossom Award" in Gansu Province.

In 2013, An Xiaochun won the first prize of pop singing in 2014 Hong Kong International Vocal Open Competition.

In 2013, Ma Ruirui won the second prize of pop singing in 2014 Hong Kong International Vocal Open Competition.

In 2013, Song Tienan won the second prize of pop singing in 2014 Hong Kong International Vocal Open Competition.

In 2015, Chou Daorong, student of 2014, won the first prize of bel canto in Gansu Qualification Trials of the 11th “Youth China” National Youth’s Talent Competition.

Ma Ruirui, student of 2013, won the first prize of bel canto in Gansu Qualification Trials of the 11th “Youth China” National Youth’s Talent Competition.

Li Zhi, student of 2013, won the first prize of bel canto in Gansu Qualification Trials of the 11th “Youth China” National Youth’s Talent Competition.

Qu Maolin, student of 2014, won the first prize of bel canto in Gansu Qualification Trials of the 11th “Youth China” National Youth’s Talent Competition.

In 2015, Song Tienan, student of 2013, won the second prize of bel canto in Gansu Qualification Trials of the 11th “Youth China” National Youth’s Talent Competition.

Luo Xiao, student of 2012, won the second prize of bel canto in Gansu Qualification Trials of the 11th “Youth China” National Youth’s Talent Competition.

In 2016, Ma Miaomiao, student of 2014, won the second prize of bel canto in Gansu Qualification Trials of the 12th “Youth China” National Youth’s Talent Competition.

Under her guidance, Lin Dan, Cheng Huaxing, Chou Yi, Zhang Huanhuan, Chen Lulu, Ban Zhouyu, Song Tienan and other students were exempt from admission exam and studied as postgraduates in LZU.
