Liu Yang, female, Han ethnic group, Hanzhong, from Hanzhong, Shaanxi, a member of the Communist Party of China, master, serves as a lecturer of the Environmental Art Design and Research Office of the Institute of Fine Arts and Design. She is also a member of Gansu New Media Association.

After studying from in Visual Communication from Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts 1998 to 2002, he obtained a bachelor's degree. From 2002 to 2006, she taught at the Art Academy of Lanzhou University. From 2006 to 2009, she studied at Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts, majoring in Conference and Exhibition Design and Planning, and obtained her master's degree. Since 2009, she has been teaching at the Art Academy of Lanzhou University. Since 2013, she has had a further education at the Academy of Arts and Design, Tsinghua University, majoring in Environmental Art.

The poster "Olympic Spirit" was exhibited at the 10th Art Exhibition of Gansu Province and won the Excellence Award.

She participated in the 2007 “Creative China”—the National Art Design Exhibition and was responsible for exhibition design and planning.

The works "Urban Sprawl" and installation works "Imagination of Expo" were selected into the Imagination of Expo: 2007 Fine Arts and Design Exhibition, Shanghai. The works are exhibited in an independent booth of Shanghai Art Museum.

The work “Maiden Rose” for the corporate image design was awarded an Collection Certificate of the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts Museum.

The poster “Olympic Spirit” won the Excellence Award in the 10th Art Exhibition of Gansu Province.

The work "The Age of Cars" won the Excellent Design Award in the City Mark Collection Activity of Shanghai International Automobile City.

Children's Dreams, Costume Packaging, Urban Sprawl and other works were published in the second volume of "Design China 100" in 2008.

Her works in 2010 was selected in the seventh volume of Design China Yearbook, published in October 2010.
