Ma Ruoqiong, Female, the Hui nationality, a member of the Communist Party of China, mater. She is the director of Environmental Art Design Research Lab, Institute of Fine Arts and Design, lecturer and the member of Institute of Interior Design of Architectural Society of China.

1998-2002: she majored in Artistic Designing at School of Fine Arts, Northwest Minzu University and gained a bachelor degree.

2008-2011: she majored in Studies of Historical Literature at School of History and Culture, Lanzhou University and gained a master degree.

Since 2014: she has studied for the doctor’s degree of Dunhuang Study at School of History and Culture, Lanzhou University.

Since 2002, she has worked at The Arts Academy, Lanzhou University.

In 2010, she finished the work of badge design for People's Government of Gansu Province and the Old Office.

In 2010, she finished “The Study of Brick Carving Art of Hui Mosque in Northwest China”, the research project in humanities and social sciences of The Ministry of Education in China.

In 2012, she finished one of “The Young Teachers Scientific Research Capacity Improvement Plan Projects” of The Arts Academy, Lanzhou University.

In 2013, she finished “From the Perspective of Ancient Restoration, The Protection Prospect of Mosque Buildings -- Take Najiahu Mosque As An Example”, the research project in humanities and social sciences of The Ministry of Education in China.

In 2014, she participated in “The Study of Folk Art in Northwest China”, the research project of Special Fund Support for Basic Scientific Research Business Expenses of Central Universities, Lanzhou University.

In 2015, she participated in “The Analysis of Architectural Decoration Art of 196 grottoes in Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes”, the research project of Special Fund Support for Basic Scientific Research Business Expenses of Central Universities, Lanzhou University.

“Discussion on Lanzhou Islamic Architectural Decoration Art” was published in Journal of Dunhuang Studies, No. 4 (2011).

“The Reader Response to Chinese Zoroastrianism Art History Research·322 Grottoes’ Image of Holding Animal and Fearing Beasts” was published in Mogao Grottoes in Art and Design, No. 5 (2014).

“Characters” was published in Art and Design, No. 4 (2014).

“The Analysis of Lanzhou Lingmingtang Gongbei Arch Brick Carving Art” was published in Modern Decoration in December 2015.

Awards and Exhibition Experiences:

In 2004, “Du” won the third prize of The Gansu Arts Exhibition for Celebrating the 55th Anniversary of The Founding of The People’s Republic of China.

In 2005, “The Full and Waning of Moon” was selected into China Design Works Annual and came out.

In 2005, she won the advanced individual of “Model of Teacher's Ethics” and “Three Ways of Educating” of Lanzhou University.

The logo of School of Atmospheric Sciences, Lanzhou University won the best design award in professional category of China’s Star Design Art Award in 2008.

“Characters” was selected into Chinese Art Teachers' Works Annual in 2009.

In 2009, her work won the theme creative poster excellent design award of Celebrating the 60th Anniversary for The Impression of China under the theme of “ I love China”.

In 2009, she participated in the exhibition of The Asian International Art Festival in Taiwan.

In 2014, she won the excellent instructor award of The Fifth National College Space Design Competition.

In 2015, she won the excellent instructor award of The Fourth China Suzhou Cultural Creative Design Industry Trade Fair and the Fourth China College Students Design Competition.

In 2015, she won the excellent instructor award of “The Bank of Lanzhou” Innovation and Creation Design Competition.

In 2015, she participated in The First Space Art Exhibition of Female Designers in Gansu Province.

In 2015, she participated in “The Western Region Customs” Exhibition in The United States of The Arts Academy, Lanzhou University.
