Zhang Qian, female, Han ethnic group, from Xi'an, Shaanxi, master, serves as a lecturer in the Visual Communication Art Design Research Office of the Institute of Fine Arts and Design. From 1997 to 2001, he studied at the Department of Design and Decoration in Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts and received a bachelor's degree. He received a master's degree in Education from the School of Education in Lanzhou University after studying in it from 2010 to 2013. Since 2001, he has been working at Art Academy in Lanzhou University.

Research direction: graphic design (focusing on new design, modern art)

Courses offered: Illustration Design, Font Design, Computer-Aided Design, Advertising Design, Logo Design, etc.

Research Projects:

In 2009, the first prize of "National Sign Collection Design Activity" organized by Gannan Tourism Bureau of Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.

In 2012, (presiding) "Illustration Design Research Project”-- the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities.

In 2012, (presiding) "University Image Recognition System Research”-- Young Teachers Promotion Project of the Art Academy, Lanzhou University.

In 2013, Lanzhou Minglang Advertising Media Company’s "Garden Landscape Design" Cooperation Project.

In 2013, funded by an EU Foundation, he worked for a month at Italian University and gave the English lecture "New Traditional Chinese painting".

In 2013, "Young Major Teachers to Germany as Visiting Scholars in 2014" Project funded by the China Scholarship Council.

Nine pieces of works in sign and poster were selected in the China Design Yearbook.

Two pieces of works in the poetry of the Tang Dynasty were selected for the Gansu Department of Culture Design Exhibition.
